FCCLA In Action

Cedar Grove High School's FCCLA  students visit Cedar Grove Elementary for multiple reasons, not just because their schools are right next to each other. When students visit the elementary schools they receive hands-on experience with early childhood. This helps the teens pick up early childhood behaviors and how to respond to them. It's important that teenagers know how to deal with the youth because the youth is the future of our next generation.  When we write children off or when we constantly tell them to 'shut up' when they ask us, what we take as "stupid questions", for example, the children start to feel as if asking questions or being different is wrong. These students provide assistance to not only the children, but the teachers, as well.

Cedar Grove's FCCLA Fall Rally Experience

The Youth had a very outstanding time. There was nothing but smiles and giggles during this event. The youth really appreciated being able to interact with other organizations. They also learned more about the history and foundation of FCCLA.
